August has been a very happening month for me. It is one month before I board the plane and set foot in a country across the globe. I was busy with buying stuffs, meeting up with my friends and attending all those application procedures.
1. Steamboat
My college friends and lecturers actually organised a farewell dinner for me at Tasty Pot steamboay at Subang. Initially, they told me that the dinner was just a gathering but soon to found out that it was organised to celebrate for me. How sweet of them!! :) :) There were like 8 of us so we really had fun chit chatting while waiting for the soup to boil. The 2 lecturers that attend was Ms Selina and Mr Eng and they just blend in the conversation without even having to try. So there is no like award moment where students hold their tongue because the presence of the lecturers.
Wan ping made a card for me with everyone wishes in it. She is really good at creative works. Love the card and will bring it alone with me there. They also gave a scarft and cap to be worn during winter. Mr eng even treated all of us.
2. Sleepover
I think this is the long awaited sleepover since after form 5 and this time only the girls were there. So alina, huei-wen, siew ming, qing xian and I gathered at hw's house and started chit chatting any topics under the sun. Haha, we really had a great laugh over something that interests all of us. Later, we had this great idea of playing Twister and all of us burst into laughters again. We were like laughing at each other posts. It was also my first time playing twister. A very fun and entertaining game indeed.
The next morning we had breakfast in a place recommended by hw and alina which ambience was great. It is like in a cottage style and give you a very homely feeling. A sleepover that I will definately miss when I am there.
3. Scholar's Day
What is memorable about it is that I get to meet everyone once again after BTN camp and the variety of food being served. I think pretty much indulge myself in the sumptious dishes. There were like Sate, nasi berani, laksa, ice kacang, popiah, ice-cream and many more. The door gift by BNM was also great. BNM gave us a combination that can also be a thumbdrive when you use it in another way.
4. Siew Ming and Yi Xuan's Belated Bday Celebration
Celebrated sm and yx belated bday at garden in one u after a day I was back from Penang. I was sort of in a rush so I didnt stay long and just join them for a catching up session. At the beginning, we actually just stood at one corner and chit chat. Haha, we were also fickle minded on deciding where to have dinner and finally decided to try Garden. I also took picture with everyone. Awesome. Too bad I have to leave early.
5. Shopping
I have been going out very very often recently, like everyday with my mum to shop for stuffs and get my things here settle before I leave. Went to Bukit Bintang, One U and Sunway to shop for long john, stationeries, gloves, jeans, food, camera and ....... It is the first time that i actually doing massive shopping. My mum and I will be out for the entire day. My legs will ache and my room will be packed with all those newly bought stuffs that i didn have the time to arrange them. For a girl, shopping can be sort of therapeutic. Haha.....
